Wembley Over AEW All In Weekend My Time.

Intro.

I don’t know about you guys, but i’m still suffering from an AEW All In Hangover, and the worrying thing is the fact that I didn’t touch any alcohol. This is because I’ve been on a high from the show, that hasn’t left me over the past few days, and if you’re voice is still feeling a bit horse, then drink plenty of lucazade, because your going to need it.

Will Osperay Segment.

As the chant of you deserve breakout across the venue. Osperay made his entrance. He thanked the fans, and those and teased another Match with Kenny Omega ( yes please ). As someone who attended All In I think that I can echo a little bit of what Wills segment means. Hardwork pays off. This was a 9 minute emotional ride that worked. Ricochet and his Demand then walked onto the stage, paying shade to there indie days on the UK Circuit. I liked this as Gabe Kidd then got involved. Will looked like he fallen into a trap as he was saved by his United Empire stable from NJPW, this would set up the main event a 5 on 5 Party Match, but the United only have 4 members, so later on in the broadcast callum brought in Andrade. On saturday it was reported by Whatculture that AEW are verging on there next story-line masterpiece, and I think this could be it. This will be a slow burn and could be a selling point for Dynasty in Febuary.

The New Level And Swerve Strickland vs The Rascalz AEW Trios Championship.

This was an excellent tv outing, and a solid way to showcase what Kofi and Austin Creed would look like in AEW. I’m not a big fan of The Rascalz, because i’ve never gravitated towards there work, however this was excellent, as both teams styles worked well together. I loved the small moments like Myron Reid taking everyone out, The rascalz performing a tandum DDT, and a triple dropkick. The overall feel of this Match was weighed out well, and our champs retained. The Young had a face with them afterwards.

The Young Bucks Segment.

Who’s in the mood for some complaining. They called out Cope and Cage, and instantly they got FTR. This was like the moment in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, when Willow wanted a diet drink, but the machine gave her coke. FTR and The Young Bucks have great chemistry, and on the mic I always look forward to these segments, however i’ve heard all of what was said before. Cope and cage then and then brought this segment to life, and all they had to do was put FTR in there place by calling them bitches, and bringing up WWE pay scales. Cope then said that at All Out it will FTR vs The Young Bucks vs Cope And Cage in a Match that might involve tables, they might involve chairs, and they will involve ladders, oh my, oh my, were’s Mick Foley when you need him. This was all over the place.

Darby AllIn vs Mark Davis AEW TNT Championship.

This Match couldn’t Match up to what happened on Sunday, when Darby launched himself from the stage scaffolding at Wembley stadium, however if you wanted this to be the same, then it would be a tall order, however that’s not me saying this was boring, oh to the contrae, we got Darby getting decked in the early going by Mark. Darby then throwing himself of an exit sign, and Don callis being an outright pain. Darby retained, and was then beaten down his crew, only to be saved by Stings son.

MJF Segment.

Wah Wah Wah Wah Wah, MJF is acting like a cry baby, who’s obsessed with Will Osperay. This was set up to take Max off tv for a while. I liked how this keeps Tony Khans spinning plate booking trick going.

Alex Windsor vs Megan Bayne.

I didn’t like this. I know this is just my opinion, but this felt predictable. Megan Bayne got the win, thanks to shenanigans. Belt stuff people.

Chris Jericho Segment.

Who wants Chris Jericho vs Nick Wayne, oh so no one then. Oh go on then AEW give us this Match if you must. You guys know that i’m not a Jericho fan, for reasons I can’t talk about online.

Mercedes Mone Celebration Segment.

I loved this segment. Mercedes thanked the fans, as she gloated about taking away Willow Nightingales, whilst smiling herself, and calling Willow a bully for breaking her nose. Step forward, and enter stage left. Drunk Thekla. THis was awesome. Just go and check this out for yourself. Thekla was getting over sexual on live TV, and it was great. Thekla vs Mercedes at All Out. Yes please Tony Khan.

Britt Baker Is Back.

Britt Baker is Back in AEW. look I get why this is a point of contention, but as a fan of Britts, the only thing that I can say is this. I hope she’s ok. I like the look of this new team.

Jon Moxley vs AR Fox Continental Championship Eliminator.

This felt like a filler Match, and it was highly predictable. Mox got the win, and retained his belt. This wasn’t for me. Do better AEW.

Issues in TDCWO.

One of my mate asked me recently what does TDCWO stand for, well that’s easy. It stands for The don callis world Order, and right now Kazuchika Okada. Kyle Fletcher, and Kevin Knight are all having issues, and at this moment the song Why Can’t We Be Friends ran through my head.

United Empire And Andrade vs The Demand. Gabe kidd And Clark Connors.

This was awesome. The Demand walking out wearing Matching onesies, and the solid in-ring Matches within the Match that featured. Henarae vs Toa Leona. Akira vs Gabe Kidd. Ricochet vs Osperay, and. Callum Newman vs Clarke Connors. Will Osperay got the win for his team with a hidden blade. I liked this. Gabe Kidd got angry in the aftermath, and tried to murder Will Osperay, and that’s when The deathriders made the save. Mox handed Will his belt, and then stared him into the ground. Tony Khan then put up the graphic confirming this Match for AEW All Out.

My Overview Of This Weeks AEW Dynamite.

When AEW comes off the back of a great PPV they normally have a stumbling week, which is ok to have, but did this weeks Dynamite break that mould, well if i’m being honest? Yes. Even though it wasn’t perfect by any stretch, the things that I like outweighed the things that I didn’t, this was a good reset show.

This weeks AEW Dynamite is a solid 7/10.
