I’m skipping the intro this week, because the show opened up with the Graphic of The Butcher who sadly passed away this past weekend from a heart attack at the age of 48, which is no age to go. The fans could be heard chanting Butcher, Butcher as the show opened.

This is a specially themed episode of Dynamite, which is to raise awareness for ALS. Rebel whos Britts assistant was diagnosed earlier this year, after showing signs in late 2024. More will be said on this later. Britt brought out Persephone, and. Hikaru Shida ahead of their Trios Match against Maya World. Hyan, and. Thunder Rosa later on. I’m going to be honest. As much as I followed the dialogue, this wasn’t about what was being said. It was just a pleasure to see Rebel smile in the face of what she’s dealing with.

The New Level and Swerve Strickland vs The Conglomeration AEW Trios Championship.

This was excellent. So far I’ve really enjoyed The New Level being in AEW, because when you look at the pacing I get the feeling that there excellerators have been shifted, and it’s amazing to see. This Match had solid Matches within the Match, and teaming with the likes of Orange Cassidy. Roderick Strong, and. Kyle O’reilly, was a masterstroke in booking. The New Level got the win, and in the aftermath were ganged upon by The Demand, who were chased off by Brodido And Hangman Adam Page. I since a triple threat Match at the PPV.

The Commentary Team Pay Tribute To The Butcher Andy Williams.

Over the past few days I’ve been taking in a lot about what Andy was like a person, as people like @Andyhmurray from Whatculture, and @msidgewick also from Whatculture have paid tributes to him. We’ve truly lost an amazing human being by all accounts. Xcaliburs emotion on Commentary was palpable as he was seen crying on camera. Godspeed The Butcher. R.I.P The Butcher.

Britt Baker. Hikaru Shida, and. Persephone, beat. Maya World. Hyan, and. Thunder Rosa it what was a fun Match. This was all about the aftermath as Rebel got her friend out of there. This was a nice touch, as it was great to seeing Rebel, and. Britt smiling and laughing together. Tony Khan should be praised for booking this. What we got after this a video of rebel talking about her fight with ALS. I think this lady is a real trooper, and deserves all the plaudits in the world. If you can give to the charity that was focused in this episode then you should. Keep fighting the good fight Rebel. The Role Model, and The Roll Model back together. You love to see it.

Two Matches For The Price Of One.

Now this is what I call a real treat. Andrade El Idolo retained his AEW National Championship against The Beast Mortos in what was a fun Match, and then got beaten down by The Dogs, leaving Will Osperay to make the save. This led to Jon Moxley heading to the Commentary desk for Will Osperay vs Clark Connors. I liked this. Both men have execellent chemistry, and this Match worked to further the story between Mox, and Osperay. Will got the win, and Clark Connors now doesn’t have a No1 Contenders shot. I get the sense that AEW are verging on something big with The Deathriders, as decention is starting to grow in the ranks. 60 minute time limit at All Out. Yes please Mr Khan.

Mark Davis And Josh Alexander vs Darby Allin And Steve Borden.

This Match was a lofi burner that failed to get going, and if i’m being honest was the only let down on this entire broadcast. Steve and his little brother Darby got the win.

Thekla. Mercedes Mone, and. Willow Nightingale.

I’m going to be honest. I love these ladies chemistry, and this worked. I get why some people might not’ve liked this, but come on guys It’s Thekla. I think were getting a triple threat at the PPV peeps.

Tables Match The Young Bucks vs Kyle Fletcher And Kevin Knight.

This was the perfect way to send this episode of Dynamite off the air. Both teams gave everything to the course, and on a night like last night, this was pivital. FTR ran interference which is how Kyle Fletcher got the win for his team. I had a whole page of notes about this match, but if i’m being honest. I feeling emotionally drained after watching this. So i’m going to leave things here.

This weeks AEW Dynamite for only the second time will have no score.
