This Weeks WWE Monday Night Raw Insights. WWE Brings It To Buffalo.

Intro.

This is an interesting time in WWE, as rumours have circulated online stating that Netflix aren’t happy with WWE. This has come from a question that came Wrestlepurists on there livestream, and the answer back is very simple. Netflix are said to be very pleased with WWE, due to the fact that neutral fan are coming in, whilst intergrating Netflix projects on weekly TV. I put this down to the fact the TV landscape is changing, and know one knows what the next step will be.

WWE Superstar Arrivals.

Stephanie Vaquer. Big Cass, and The Vision are all seen showing up to work. There evenings would be decent.

LA Knight Segment.

I liked this. I’m no sucker to a promotrain, but this one was actually good. Knight talked about Family threats. Title aspirations, and calling Roman Reigns a coward. He then thanked Solo Sikoa The Banter King for helping him last week. Solo came out and spoke truth about Knight. Solos older brothers Jimmy and Jey then stepped onto the stage, and oh my they looked pissed off, they were here on the orders of Roman Reigns to run the play, because there are consequences coming for Solo, so they issued a warning shot, and just like that Solo became Neo from The Matrix, and dodged that bullet. Knight then got back on the mic, and told them that he’s going to slap the pair of them back to factory settings. Solo Knights will face THe Usos in the main event later on.

Stephanie Vaquer vs Roxanne Perez.

I liked this. I’m pleased to see Stephanie Vaquer back in WWE, because she’s one of my favourite women wrestlers to watch work. This Match worked. Both ladies managed to navigate the early feeling out process, and create something decent. From Roxanne eating the Devils Kiss. Stephanie kicking out of a shining wizard, and of course Becky Lynch coming out, and dealing with Liv Morgan. Stephanie got the win as the chaos ended.

WWE No1 Contenders Tournament Semi Final Rey fenix vs Dragon Lee.

When WWE do tournaments I get the feeling that no one does them better, when they’re booked correctly. This tournament has been the definition of hard-work paying off. Both men had a fantastic back and forth dual, and this was genuinely fantastic. Fenix got the win. I think we might be getting a Lucha Bros final next week.

Oba Femi And Bron Breakker Contract Signing.

I’ve got to be honest. I hate contract signing segments, because over the past 25 years WWE have ruined the concept. This was a good segment, as. Paul Heyman. Oba Femi, and. Bron Breakker managed to bounce the content off each other, and navigate the segment. This ended in a brawl after Bron confronted Paul. This ended with Austin Theory eating a table. This was excellent, and it’s awesome seeing both men getting something a bit juicy to do.

Jevon Evans vs Big Cass.

Jevon Evans got wrecked by Big Cass. The Judgement Day then attacked Jevon in the aftermath, because Jevon jumped them for disrespecting Rey Mysterio. I’ve got a funny story about Big Cass. A few years ago when he was part of AEW. I was creating content in London over All In Weekend. I went to get some lunch, after I was done eating, he walked right by me, and as a man who’s 6.11 in height I had to do a double take.

Sol Ruca Segment.

Would I Like to see Sol Ruca vs Iyo Sky vs Lyra Valkyria, can you say yes please WWE. I think this Match could slap if givn time to breathe.

Penta vs La Parka WWE No1 Contenders Tournament.

This was distractingly predictable, however it worked, because both men had fantastic chemistry. It’s just a shame they wrestled this Match to the sound of crickets. Were getting a Lucha Bros final next week. I can’t wait to see this unfold.

The Usos vs Solo Knights.

I didn’t like this. Look I like my guy Solo Sikoa, and. LA Knight, but this Match did neither man any favours. Jimmy, and Jey tried to take a lot of the offence, but this squashed when a returning Royce Keys came out, and wrecked everyone with the help of NXT call ups OTM, this caused the Match to get thrown out, as the chaos took hold of the proceedings. This felt forced, and not very natural.

Overview Of WWE Monday Night Raw.

this show felt like a sandwich filling that didn’t hit the spot, and it’s a shame because i liked some of the things on this broadcast.

This weeks WWE Monday Night Raw is a mid 6/10. Oh well at least Roman Reigns will be back on next weeks show.
