Intro.

With this Summer Heatwave showing no sign of slowing down in the UK, and September needing to hurry up, and get here quickly. This is normally the time when WWE starts to heat up it’s booking. I love the period from September to November as a Pro Wrestling fan, because your in that lull period. Wrestlemania is months away, the Summer has gone, and this means that WWE are in a state of chill. I can’t wait for this time of year.

WWE Superstar Arrivals.

Stephanie Vaquer. Becky Lynch, and. The Judgement Day were all seen showing up for there shifts. This would have varying results in the evening.

Michael Cole Gets Interrupted.

Michael Cole was in mid flow telling us about the injury that Royce Keys, that was until The Banter Solo Sikoa came out. Solo was on fire as he taunted his brother Jey by singing his entrance, and coming through the fans. Solo tried to get out two sentences, that was until Jey Uso walked to the ring. I liked this. The pair had a great promo dual, that focussed on family loyalty, and disrespect. This set up the main event later on Solo Sikoa vs Jey Uso, and If Solo lost, then he would be handed over to Roman next week. This would be a episode long storythread. When WWE do these segments well, they get them spot on. This was the defintion of that phrase.

Penta vs Laredo WWE No1 contenders Tournament.

This was suprisingly excellent. I do like this idea, but it has a negative caviat to it. AAA has become WWEi’fied, and that’s a shame. There tempo just felt off. This means that WWE have stripped the promotion of it’s speed. I’ve got to admit it I don’t get the chance to watch much AAA these days, because of everything that I’ve got going on these days. But this was excellent. Penta got the win, and advances on to the next stage.

The Vision Segment.

I don’t like sounding dismissive, but I hate this Vision Bodyshaming storyline. It’s nasty, and plain disgusting. Austin Theory then Tazawa in what was a decnt match, Security stopped a nasty beatdown, and Oba Femi then had a stairing contest with Bron Breakker. Paul Heyman would talk cryptic nonsense to Bron later on.

Stephanie Vaquer Is Back.

I’m so pleased to see Stephanie Vaquer is back in WWE, and on Monday Nights calling out The Judgement Day. Well that’s would happen If Becky Lynch hadn’t turned up. I liked this. Both ladies put on a fantastic promo, that has got me excited to see them later on down the line. Liv attacked Becky in the aftermath.

Bianca Belair Has Given Birth To A Baby Boy.

I’m going to use this time to send out my best wishes to Bianca Belair, and. Montez Ford, who over the weekend announced that they are now parents to a bouncing baby boy. Squaredcirclemma.com sends it’s best wishes there way. Congrats.

Solo Sikoa Warns LA Knight.

Solo Sikoa tried to warn LA Knight about handling The Bloodline. Somehow I don’t think LA Knight needs any advice. Adam Pearce said to him that he’s in the contention for a championship shop, against Roman, just once the Lucha tournament is out of the way.

Dominik Mysterio vs Dragon Lee.

Dragon Lee beat Dominik Mysterio, in what was a solid TV Match, and then got battered By Big Cass in the aftermath. This was another suprisingly good Match. Big Cass then wrecked Lee In the aftermath.

Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez vs Sol Ruca And Iyo Sky.

I didn’t like this. The Match felt flat, and if i’m being honest a bit boring. I couldn’t feel the chemistry between both sides, and it was evidently clear from the misfires within the Match. Sol And Iyo got the win.

Jey Uso vs Solo Sikoa.

With everything story related to this Match, you could be forgiven for thinking that this Match had stakes, well i’m here to beg to differ. WWE in my opinion are watering down The Bloodline, and it doesn’t feel very fresh. This is one way of looking at how badly this storyline is being booked these days. It felt predictable, and if i’m being honest even though Jey got the win, in what was a lacklustre effort, I can see Solo standing his ground, and not changing.

Overview Of WWE Monday Night Raw.

This weeks Monday Night Raw was a step in the right direction, but at what cost. I liked most of the show, however the aspect of bodyshaming, and predictable Matches, were meshed together with good promo work, and other areas of solid in ring work. This is the better side of WWE Monday Night Raw, if this is the better side ? then WWE must do better.

This weeks WWE Monday Night Raw is a solid 6/10.
