Intro.

Over the past thirty years Pro Wrestling has been a source of comfort during bad times, and I think this can be said for others. My dreams, and insights when it comes to writing is the fact that I drive myself on each week to do better. this is because I want content creation to be my life. I want to be the man that sits in the press conferences, and goes to events as part of the media. AEW came around at the right time in my life. My work life wasn’t were it needed to be, and as a result I felt down for a lon g period of time, however I found my way out of this problem, by standing my own ground, and not allowing myself to be walked on. Why am I talking about this new I hear you ask, well the next aew ppv is called Redemption, and I’ve got to say it standing your ground against bullies is a highly redeeming quality to have.

The Deathriders Give Will Osperay A Workout.

I’ve said this before, but I love Jon Moxley taking on the role of the leader of Cobra kai, trying to ruin Daniel Larusso, aka Will Osperay. I love this form of grooming from a storyline perspective.

Cope And Cage vs Wheeler Yuta And Daniel Garcia AEW World Tag Team Championship.

I liked this. AEW have a real niche for doing the veteran vs Young talent. This Match was the definition of that meaning. The physicality came to light, due to the chemistry, and charissma between both teams. The fans showed how much they hate Wheeler Yuta, as he paired well against christian Cage, and Cope paired up well against Yuta. This was something that gave the veterans the momentum to get the win. Cope and Cage retained their AEW World Tag Team Championships. The Dogs then attacked the Champs, allowing the Bang Bang Gang to make the save. I hate Shaleleighs.

Andrade El Idolo Segment.

AEW showed a segment with Andrade El Idolo, that by all accounts from Pro Wrestling news sites was shot in Mexico. I know what you’re all thinking. Patrick How You Know. AEW have been doing promotional work for the special that’s coming in early August.

The Demand Segment.

The Demand have The Trust beat up The Conglomeration. So Ricochet is expanding his group, sounds interesting.

Jake Doyle vs Andrade El Idolo.

Andrade El Idolo is one of my favourite Wrestlers on the current AEW roster at the minunte. This resembled a fight, and I loved it. The Match had a solid flow to it, as the chemistry between both men showed that differant styles can make something exciting. Andrade got the win, and will now face Mark Davis at AEW Redemption next Sunday. The tease of Andrade facing MJF at Wembley was also a nice touch.

Kenny Omega AEW World Heavyweight Championship Celebration.

This segment reminded me of going into my local Tesco, and getting a good deal. Buy 2, and get one free. Kenny Omega walked to the ring with the belt drapedaround his waist. The Young Bucks followed suite, and heaped priase on their friend of over 20 years. Kenny took to the mic after Matt and Nick got that awful looking burberry belt from him. Kenny reflected about his past, from the last time he won the belt just over 1.000 days ago. 5 years has passed since the time when belt collector proved why he was the best bout machine, and one of the greatest of all time. He spoke about his extended family, and his peers, as he baskled in the love of the fans. This brought out Will. Both men had a fantastic promo dual, that levelled the themes of self belief, their history, and the inspiration that Kenny has been on his career, the fear of being second best, and one of my favourites tv shows Dragon Ball Z. Kevin Knight then walked out, and had a minor verbal beat down from Omega. Kevin Knight vs Kenny Omega for the AEW world Heavyweight Championship at Redemption will do nicely. Kenny Omega said that there’s 50 days between now and Wembley, and that were going to see the best of him. This is a basic tactic that AEW are using due to the fact that All In is just around the corner, and at the time of writing All In at Wembley has sold over 30.000 tickets, so having Will and Kenny do weekly Promos is a good way to generate interest in the PPV before the rest of the card gets announced. Kevin attacked Kenny. Will Osperay made the save from the Don Callis Family, leaving The Deathriders to help Will. This was an excellent to keep th the tensions simmering. I loved this segment.

Jack Perry Segment.

Jack Perry wants a fight, and luchasaurus has a new job. He’s a boon operator. This made me laugh.

Brodido vs Aaron Solo And Nick Commoratto.

Brodido beat Aaron Solo And Nick Commoratto in what was essentially a nothing filler Match.

Kyle Fletcher vs Commander AEW International Championship.

This Match had everything that I wanted and more, from Commander taking a running dive from the top ropde planting Kyle into the annnouncers desk, busting him open. The near falls fell into place, as the physicality became the story of the Match. When AEW do these type Matches no one does them better. Kyle then got the win, and had a face off with Bandido. The pair will meet at AEW Redemption for the International Championship. I liked this.

The Brawling Birds segment.

Jamie Hayter, and. alex Windsor said everrything that I was thinking last night. I love beer, but I’m not a fan of Thomas Tuchel. Enough said.

Chris Jericho Segment.

Chris Jericho said that at AEW Redemption he’s going to bring the Painmaker to Ciampa, who thought this was a great idea. Drill vs Painmaker, this sounds interesting.

Darby Allin vs Brian Cage.

It’s no secret that I’m a Darby Allin fan, but I’ve seen these Matches time after time, and they never get old. This match had the perfect dynamic of big ig vs small, and it worked because both men were great filler for one another. Darby got the win, after a great series of sequences, featuring two coffin drops.

AEW Dynamite Main Event Mercedes Mone And Divine Dominion vs Maya And Hyan World And Willow Nightingale. Over the years a lot has beenaid about AEW’s handling of it’s womens division, and how it has been booked. This was a decent outing for all sixix ladies, and with fifteen minutes left on the broadcast, this meant that all ladies had time to get their work in, normally this could a bookers nightmare, but this had a cohesive feel that had a fluid pace. Mercedes got the win for her team.

AEW Dynamite My Thoughts.

With AEW Heading back to Wembley Stadium in just over five weeks, it’s crucial that AEW, and Tony Khan keep storylines and momentum goingng as their biggest show of the year enters on the horizon is vital, and judging off the back of this weeks show, I can honestly say we so here.

This AEW Dynamiteis graded 8/10.
