This is going to be something that i’m going to ad to my reviews. A look at the world of Pro Wrestling news. And i’m starting off with a hot one. Ticket sales in WWE. This has been quite a point of contention within WWE/TKO, and when being reported by news outlets surrounding Pro Wrestling, and. WWE News. I’m going to make my point in a minute, but I just want you to get the grips of this issue. I checked out the prices for this weeks WWE Raw, and WWE Smackdown live broadcasts, and prices for both shows are eye watering, when checking them out at face value. WWE Raw’s highest price was $6.00 dollars, and. WWE Smackdown was the same, whilst the lowest ticket prices were roughly around the $ 140 dollars, and then you check out the ticket averages for WWE Summerslam which is set to take place in Minnesota, in less than 3 weeks. WWE at the time of writing have only sold 22.000 tickets for both nights in a stadium that is set up to hold nearly 40.000 at capacity. For WWE this is nothing short of embarrassing. AEW on the other hand are also seeing slow ticket sales for All In at Wembley Stadium. People have asked what I think the problem is with both promotions and this is my answer. This past year WWE/TKO haven’t likened themselves to fans, due to a mariad of reasons stemming from restructuring talent contract with upto 50% less money, whilst hiking up ticket prices, to beyond any reasonable measure, and as for AEW, this is the case of having diminished returns. In August this would mark the third time that Tony Khan has run the hallowed grounds of Wembley for company’s big magashow. The first time saw an audience of up to 80.000, the second was less than 46.000, whilst the third at time of writing has only done just under 30.000. The answer to this question is simple If you run the same buildings, and charge high prices, your core audience is going to get bored, and this the case of what we’re seeing in the of Pro Wrestling at the minute. You can put on the best show possible, but if no one can afford to go, then what’s the point?.

Superstars Seen Turning Up.

Seth Rollins. Penta. Iyo Sky, and. The Vision were all seen showing up to work ahead of WWE Raw.

Brock Lesnar Segment.

Im in two minds over this segment. Brock walked down to the accompanied by his advocate Paul Heyman, and a load of Dallas Police. Brock didn’t say a word, so Paul Heyman did. He said that Oba Femi is big dumb, and obsessivve like a psycho ex girlfriend. In our year of 2026 I could’ve done without that line, given my thoughts on Lesnar. Paul went on to say that he’s got a restraining order against Oba, so that Brock can’t inflict damage on him, and he’s also got one against Brock for the same reasons. This brought Oba out, and wreck those useless police officers, and then tell paul, and Brock that at Summerslam. Brock won’t be able to hide from The Ruler. Given my thoughts about Brock, and putting them to oneside. This was very effective. I like how WWE are handling Oba at the minute.

Roman Reigns And Seth Rollins Documentary Pts 1 and 2.

WWE then showed the first of two parts, focussing on the history between Seth Rollins, and. Roman Reigns. Both of these parts aired at differant parts of the show, and if i’m being honest it’s easier to marry them together. The first foused on the rise of The shield, whilst the second part focussed on the heartbreak of Seth’s betrayal. These were very well put together.

Iyo Sky Vs Roxanne Perez.

Iyo Sky is one of my favourite female Wrestlers on WWE’s current roster, and her ability to make others better needs to be studied in Pro Wrestling schools. The Match worked on a level. The charisma and chemistry that both ladies showed was excellent, and this gave time for the Match to breathe. Iyo got the win after a stunning final exchange of roll ups. This when Sol Ruca made the save from Iyo getting a beatdown, and then got taken out by Raquel Rodriguez, and. Liv Morgan had a minor scrap with Iyo. This might not have been my highlight of the show, but I do like seeing good chemistry on display.

The Vision Segment.

I hate talking with a nasty tongue, but this segment was terrible. I also have to state this. I do not condone bodyshaming of any kind. These are the type of segments that are incredibly mean spirited. The Vision walked to the ring, and Logan Paul went straight to business shouting out the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Austin Theory, and. Bron Breakker. Otis and Tazawa then walked to the ring, with sorry looks on there faces. If this segment was a song it would be called Never Fall In Love Again by Burt Bacharach. This was a dodgy TV break up, that wouldn’t have looked out of place on a nineties teen show, as Maxxine Dupri, and. Austin Theory laughed at Otis, and bodyshamed him, as he told Maxxine how he felt. Tazawa and Otis were then beaten down by Austin Theory and Bron Breakker. I didn’t like any of this. I’ve got a zero tolerance when it comes to bullying, and this was outright mean. WWE do better.

Jimmy Uso vs Royce Keys.

When WWE do chaos, they tend to do it better than anyone else at times when it comes to producing TV. This was an impromptu Match, that came to fruitition in the commercial break, because Royce was on the hunt for Jimmy Uso after what happened on this past weekends WWE Smackdown. The match was nothing but filler, and did nothing for me. Jacob Fatu was seen on the screen showing up to the arena, and upon arrival he went on the hunt for Royce. The Match then got thrown out, and Solo tried to reason with Jacob, by saying that he’s back in the family fold. This was just a rouse because he attacked Jimmy, and outcame LA Knight with a steelchair, and challenged Jacob. Jimmy, and. Jey to a Match at Summerslam, against him. Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys. I thought this was a converluted mess, that felt far two long. This left me feeling bored. And it’s a shame because I like LA Knight.

Bayley And Lyra Valkyria Segment.

This was unwatchable. I’m going to be honest. I’m not the biggest fan of Lyra Valkyria’s character development, because the booking hasn’t favoured her at all. This segment focused on an old school trope that He Who Shall Not Be Named used to do back in the late to mid 2010’s. Your my friend, no you’re not, it’s old, and boring, and tired. And what didn’t help the situation was the fact that the scripting behind this was terrible. Bayley vs Lyra will get its pay off at WWE Snme this saturday.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Gauntlet Match.

This was a sensational piece of booking, that worked on every level. This was a WWE PLE Level Match playing out on a TV stage, and it was great to see. The Matches within the match were excellent, as they gave space for Chad Gable to get the victory. As Dominik Mysterio. Ethan Page. Dragon Lee. Jevon Evans. Joe Hendry, and. Rusev and Rusev all gave solid accounts for themselves. This was my WWE Raw Highlight. Simply awesome. Oh and hello Danhausen.

Contract Signing WWE Heavyweight Championship.

This segment wasn’t for me. Adam Pearce played the role of host as Roman and Seth took the fans. The WWE fans in Dallas loved this, they hung on there every word. The chant of fans singing seths song drowned out Romans OTC chant. THis segment was a truth bomd filled thrill fest, to some, but to me it ventured over old ground that I’ve heard before.

Overview Of WWE Raw.

This weeks WWE Raw was a confusing mess that had it’s moments. From some solid in ring work, and a poor night for promos.
